First of all, a big thank you to the FTC for being as opaque as possible in explaining how to be transparent. Could you make this any more difficult?

Disclosure Policy in my own words as I understand it (as in addition to, or clarifying the above:)

I do receive compensation anytime an ad is clicked on. I am an affiliate with the advertisers on my blog and I receive compensation if purchases are made after clicking through some ads. Any specific product or service mentioned in my posts at present (up to 11/30/10,) I have purchased and used as stated and receive no compensation for mentioning them. I haven't yet written any reviews on specific products. If I do begin reviewing products, and if I do receive them free, I cross my heart and hope to die, that I will express my honest opinion and disclose in the post that I am reviewing a freebie. Will I be influenced by the aforementioned freebie? I will most likely be influenced to try it out, but beyond that, whether I choose to write about the product, positively or negatively is at my discretion based on my humble opinion and experience. So, send me some good stuff please.
In the meantime, if I do mention any of my advertisers (yes, I use products and services from all of them myself,) you will see an "Affiliate" notice at the bottom of the post.
